Host and producer of the Style Network’s home makeover show Clean House Niecy Nash and her partner professional dancer Louis Van Amstel were voted off Dancing with the Stars Season 10 on the May 11 elimination show.
Niecy Nash received the lowest score from the judges for her performance on Monday night’s show.
“I expected to win!” said Niecy Nash following her elimination tonight.
Her partner Louie Van Amstel quickly corrected her, saying, “You did not.”
“Oh, yes I did, are you kidding me?” she teased. “I sure did expect to win. Let me tell you what Louie Van Amstel, I never enter something expecting to lose. Who does that?!”
“I am a 40-year-old mother of three, I’ve got three C-sections under my belly,” Niecy said in expressing how happy she was to have come this far.
“I was able to survive in this competition this long with fantastic people. With the fact that I can’t hula-hoop with a Cheerio and I’ve been able to be one of the last women standing, I’ve had such a fantastic time being able to live out my dream up there.”
“Every night we got to come out on this floor, I got to fulfill my dream,” she also said. “Louie helped me do that; this opportunity helped me do that. I have no complaints. I loved it.”
“I don’t like Tuesdays,” ESPN star Erin Andrews says. “It’s just a lot. And I love Niecy. Over the past few weeks we’ve all just become so close. She is such a good woman. She cracks us up, but man, she’s deep.”
“She’s really smart—as funny as Niecy is, she’s a super clever woman,” Maksim Chmerkovskiy said.
NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner professional dancer Cheryl Burke joined Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel in the bottom two.
The remaining couples of Dancing with the Stars season 10 are ESPN reporter Erin Andrews and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, NFL star Chad Ochocinco and partner Cheryl Burke, the lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls Nicole Scherzinger and partner Derek Hough, and finally World Figure Skating Champion Evan Lysacek and partner Anna Trebunskaya.
The season will continue next week on Monday, May 17, with week nine performances by the remaining 4 couples.
