2010 BET Awards Winners and Performances

The 2010 BET Awards took place Sunday, June 27 in Los Angeles. Big winners included Rihanna, Alicia Keys and Drake. Chris Brown and El DeBarge were two of the memorable performers.

Video Director of the Year: Hype Williams
Youngstars Award: Keke Palmer
Best Actress: Mo’nique
Best Actor: Idris Elba
Best Movie: Precious
Best Gospel: Marvin Sapp
Centric Award: Monica
Subway Sportswoman of the Year: Serena Williams
Subway Sportsman of the Year: LeBron James
Best International Act: Dizzee Rascal

The 2010 BET Awards featured many memorable performances including Alicia Keys, Chris Brown, Diddy – Dirty Money, Drake, Trey Songz, Usher, Nicki Minaj, Ludacris, Marvin Sapp, T.I., Kanye West, Rick Ross, Dj Khaled, Eminem, T- Pain, Kim Burrell, Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin and Karen Clark Sheard.

Chris Brown performed a tribute to his childhood idol, Michael Jackson. Chris Brown started crying during his performance to the point that he couldn’t continue singing.
