World Cup 2010: Quarterfinals Match Ups and Refs

The 2010 FIFA World Cup continues Friday, July 2, in South America for the Quarterfinals. The Quarterfinals match ups and the referees for each game have been announced.

Match Up Netherlands vs Brazil will take place Friday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Yuichi Nishimura of Japan will referee the Netherlands vs Brazil game, making this the fourth game he has refereed in the 2010 World Cup.

Uruguay vs Ghana match will take place Friday, July 2 at 2:30 p.m. EST. Olegario Benquerenca of Portugal will referee the Uruguay vs Ghana game, which will be his third game refereed in the 2010 World Cup.

The Argentina vs Germany game will begin Saturday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. EST. Referee Carlos Batres of Guatemala will officiate Argentina vs Germany for his third game refereed in the 2010 World Cup.

The final World Cup Quarterfinals game, Paraguay vs Spain will start Saturday, July 3 at 2:30 p.m. EST. Ravshan Irmatov of Uzbekistan has been appointed to referee the Argentina-Germany quarterfinal in the 2010 World Cup.
