Chicago lawyer Stuart V. Goldberg has reportedly declined Lindsay Lohan’s case after her last attorney quit.
Lindsay Lohan’s previous lawyer, Chapman Holley filed a letter of resignation just days after Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail.
Goldberg met with Lindsay Lohan, her mother Dina and younger sister Ali over the weekend.
“My impression of Lindsay is that she’s a fragile lost child – a sleeping beauty with her head in the sand. I found her not fully forewarned of the consequence of her actions,” Goldberg told People magazine.
“I’m concerned that she’s not disciplined or tethered enough to the reality of adult consequences. She doesn’t seem to have the awareness of what’s going to befall her.”
Goldberg suggested Lindsay Lohan move out of Los Angeles, but Lohan apparently wasn’t interested in even entertaining the idea.
“She was like Teflon to that comment. It just slid right off her. She seemed to have some inner deep sadness that that was her fate,” Goldberg said, adding, “My real worry for her is not just the jail time, but my fear is that she’s overly susceptible to a probation system that’s set up for her to fail.”
According to TMZ, O.J. Simpson’s former lawyer, Robert Shapiro, is also a possible candidate for the job of Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer.
