The top 7 of Last Comic Standing season 7 were revealed last night on the week 7 episode, sending home Jason Adomian, Laurie Kilmartin and Maronzio Vance.
The 7 contestants remaining are Mike DeStefano, Roy Wood, Jr., Myq Kaplan, Rachel Feinstein, Tommy Johnagin, Felipe Esparza and Jonathan Thymius. The top 7 Last Comic Standing comedians went on to perform for a chance to make it to the next round.
Mike DeStefano made jokes about expensive soap, dating and his ex-girlfriend.
Roy Wood, Jr. joked about student loans, pleasing the crowd with this line: “If a class is 500 and I make a C, all I owe you is 250.”
Myq Kaplan continued with his smart, well-thought jokes, making fun of himself saying, “I am gay friendly, or as they called me in high school, gay.”
Rachel Feinstein performed after Laurie Kilmartin was eliminated, doing impressions as usual, which the judges loved.
Tommy Johnagin, joking about his ex-girlfriend, said, “That’s when I realized if you do something crazy after a break up, tell everyone, because eventually someone’s going to out-crazy you, and you’ll feel better about yourself.”
Felipe Esparza performed next, joking about a haunted house in his neighborhood said, “It costs 20 bucks to get in, 30 bucks to get out.”
After Maronzio Vance was eliminated, Jonathan Thymius performed. Thymius, whose strange character and style make people laugh more than his actual jokes do.
The Last Comic Standing judges, Andy Kindler, Natasha Leggero, and Greg Giraldo, seem to never have anything negative to say.
Another comedian will be eliminated next Monday night, July 26 on the eighth episode of Last Comic Standing Season 7 on NBC.
