Rachel Feinstein, who is best known for her character-driven comedy, was voted off Last Comic Standing season 7 last night, July 26.
Jonathan Thymius, by far the strangest of the remaining 6 contestants, performed first on Monday’s show. Roy Wood, Jr. takes the stage next, followed by Myq Kaplan. Kaplan’s jokes range from crappy movies to divorce, all getting a positive reaction from the audience and judges, Andy Kindler, Greg Giraldo and Natasha Leggero. Tommy Johnagin performs another hilarious set followed by Mike DeStefano, who manages to make drug use and murder comical. Felipe Esparza closes the show with a typical Latino-based set, after host Craig Robinson announces that Rachel Feinstein will be going home.
Rachel Feinstein has been a stand-up comedian for 11 years. Rachel has appeared on Russell Simmons’ new series for Comedy Central and just taped her own half-hour special “Comedy Central Presents: Rachel Feinstein.”
Even though Monday night was the end of the road for her on Last Comic Standing, this is clearly not the end of her stand-comedy career.
Another comedian will be eliminated next Monday night, August 2 on the ninth episode of Last Comic Standing Season 7 on NBC. Tune in to see the top five comedians perform and to see who is going home.
