Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore Synopsis:

In the age-old battle between cats and dogs, one crazed feline has taken things a paw too far. Kitty Galore, formerly an agent for cat spy organization MEOWS, has gone rogue and hatched a diabolical plan to not only bring her canine enemies to heel, but take down her former kitty comrades and make the world her scratching post. Faced with this unprecedented threat, cats and dogs will be forced to join forces for the first time in history in an unlikely alliance to save themselves – and their humans.

Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore stars the voices of James Marsden, Nick Nolte, Christina Applegate, Katt Williams, Bette Midler, Neil Patrick Harris, Sean Hayes, Wallace Shawn, Roger Moore, Joe Pantoliano, Michael Clarke Duncan, Chris O’Donnell, Jack McBrayer and Fred Armisen and was directed by Brad Peyton.

The overall reviews seem to be negative, but viewers must keep in mind that this movie is a child’s cartoon and is not necessarily going to have much depth.

“Too many frantic CGI critters ruin this spy movie with pets.” -Kirk Honeycutt, Hollywood Reporter

“…not the plot nor the action nor most of the jokes offer the joy or delight to make Kitty Galore worth the trip to the multiplex.” -Jay Antani, Moving Pictures Magazine

“The only reasons to see this sequel is Bette Midler as Kitty Galore, and some satirical allusions to pop culture phenoms (James Bond, Hannibal Lecter), but for a 81-minute adventre it’s rather weak and charmless.” -Emanuel Levy, EmanuelLevy.Com
