Chelsea Clinton, age 30, married her long-time boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky, age 30, at Astor Courts, a historic 50-acre estate on the Hudson River in Rhinebeck, N.Y., about 100 miles north of New York City.

Chelsea wore a Vera Wang white wedding gown that was strapless, with a fitted bodice and full skirt with platinum-colored beading at the waist. Vera Wang, a family friend, attended the wedding. The bridesmaids’ dresses were designed by Vera Wang as well. Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey, also a friend of the family, designed groom Marc Mezvinsky’s tuxedo as well as ties for the groomsmen and the father of the bride, former President Bill Clinton. The mother of the bride, Hillary Clinton, wore an Oscar de la Renta.

After the ceremony, Bill and Hillary Clinton released a statement saying, “Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family. On behalf of the newlyweds, we want to give special thanks to the people of Rhinebeck for welcoming us and to everyone for their well-wishes on this special day.”

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky have known each other since 1993, but did not reveal a romantic relationship until 2005. They got engaged in November 2009. They currently live in a $4 million, three-bedroom apartment in New York City.

As for kids, “I’m not going to put any pressure on her,” Hillary told People in 2007. “But my friends are starting to have grandchildren and it’s a great experience, so I look forward to it someday.”
