Jennifer Lopez Too Much of a Diva for American Idol

Rumors continue to swirl about who will replace former American Idol judges Simon Cowell, Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi. It was sounding pretty certain that Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler would complete the judges panel with Idol veteran Randy Jackson, but now sources are saying that Idol is no longer interested in Jennifer Lopez because she is too much of a diva.

According to a source, “Her demands got out of hand…Fox had just had enough.”

With Nigel Lythgoe back as part of the American Idol executive producing team, it will be interesting to see who gets considered now. It has been rumored that Nigel would like Paula Abdul back on the show.

Randy Jackson said last week, “The only thing that’s for sure [about the upcoming 10th season] is Ryan [Seacrest]. Nothing has been decided…If Jennifer Lopez is a judge I would be very happy. I love her.”

Hopefully Randy won’t be heartbroken over this.

So American Idol fans will continue to wait in anticipation to see who will be judging the talent on the coming season.

The 10th season of American Idol will premiere on Fox on January 12, 2011.

I think Jennifer Lopez is nice and beautiful. She is the best singer and her music is good too. I hope that she has a good life with her newborn twins and happiness to all!

Yes Jennifer Lopez is pretty but it is true that she is a difficult person to work with. There have been many comments made by ppl she has worked with and all said she’s too demanding i e. asking for specialty foods that weren’t available, getting upset if a female looked at her that was better looking, I could go on and on. I’m glad she’s not going to be back. She tried to make AI all about her not the contestants. If AI is to succeed and keep ratings she needs to go. Why would Paula come back she’s happy on X-Factor.
