Tila Tequilla was attacked by a rowdy crowd during her performance Saturday night at a music festival called Gathering of the Juggalos in Illinois, a concert featuring acts such as Insane Clown Posse and Kottonmouth Kings.
Tila Tequilla says she was attacked immediately when she got on stage, stating that rocks, beer bottles and fire crackers were thrown at her. Tila Tequilla suffered lacerations to the face that required stitches.
“I went onstage and immediately, before I even got on stage, dudes were throwing huge stone rocks in my face, beer bottles that slit my eye open, almost burnt my hair … cuz they threw firecrackers on stage,” Tila Tequilla wrote in a statement.
“These people were trying to kill me,” she said. “It was scary as hell!”
Tila Tequilla says she will be suing the music festival, tweeting, “Pretty soon, the owners who run the juggalos will be bankrupt.”
This was apparently not the only violent incident at Gathering of the Juggalos Saturday. A 49-year-old Georgia man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man in the abdomen, just hours before Tila Tequilla was attacked.
