Lottery Ticket in Theaters this Weekend

The new movie Lottery Ticket, a comedy starring Bow Wow and Ice Cube, opens nationwide in theaters Friday, August 20, 2010.

Lottery Ticket is a story about a young man by the name of Kevin Carson (played by Bow Wow), living in the projects, who wins $370 million from a lottery ticket he purchased. When his opportunistic neighbors discover he has the winning ticket in his possession, Kevin must survive their greedy and sometimes even threatening actions over a three-day holiday weekend before he can claim his prize.

Lottery Ticket has a slew of actors with lots of known B-list stars popping in, including Bow Wow, Ice Cube, Brandon T. Jackson, Naturi Naughton, Keith David, Charlie Murphy, Leslie Jones, Bill Bellamy, Mike Epps and T-Pain. Ice Cube is also one of the executive producers of the movie.

Lottery Ticket received mixed ratings from the critics.

Lottery Ticket is rated PG-13 for sexual content, language including a drug reference, some violence and brief underage drinking.
