From youtube to Kanye West, Justin Bieber was quite the hidden gem. Now the 16-year-old pop music sensation has dreams of moving toward the big screen, and he’s thinking Grease, Lightning… Go. Bieber has his heart set on playing dancing machine stud Danny Zuko, and Miley Cyrus would star as Sandy, in Bieber’s perfect Bieber world.
These days the cutesy tween phenomenon seems to be pimped out to all the big stars including Usher, Ludacris, Sean Kingston, Jaden Smith, and even Kim Kardashian. It’s no wonder then that he so confidently verbalizes who he thinks would make the best co-star and cast alongside his dream role as Danny Zuko in Grease.
“It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny,” Bieber told The Sun. (How many years ago has this been talked about? Five years ago you were practically just learning how to read, write and ride a bicycle.)
“I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation. She can sing, dance and act,” Bieber said.
The Canadian adds, “Wouldn’t Susan Boyle make an amazing Principal McGee? We’d just need to write it into the script that she broke into song… I would love to include Cheryl Cole as well. She would look great in the Rydell High cheerleading uniform.”
This idea sounds absolutely tragic. He’s a modern day Olsen twin puppet circa 1990. If Bieber wants to remake a classic, I would suggest ET, over Grease. (ET turns into a musical? I think I’m onto something…) Picturing Bieber in a leather jacket and tight black clothes with a cigarette, talking about sex just sounds criminal. If anything, Bieber should be the Sandy. And Miley can be Rizzo.
