Can Piers Morgan Follow In Larry King’s Footsteps on CNN?

As America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan gears up to succeed Larry King on CNN, he’s been harshly criticized - comparable to the BP oil spill; “crimes perpetuated by Britain on American landscape.” Vogue magazine inquires on how the polemical marriage of Piers and CNN is seen as anything but paramount.

Piers Morgan may be his very own fame monster. A young editor once detesting and begrudging the celebrity culture and deeming tabloids as belonging “behind page 29,” eventually ate his own words. The now seasoned Journalist has become a celebrity of his own as he was awakened to the philosophy that “the public loves celebrities.” Name-dropping celebrity friends like Gordon Ramsay, Sharon Osbourne and Naomi Campbell, Piers doesn’t seem to mind being seen at The Ivy or being shot in paparazzi photos. Now enmeshed in pop culture, he is set to be CNN’s new prime-time television host. +Continue Reading

Let Me In synopsis:

Twelve-year old Owen is viciously bullied by his classmates and neglected by his divorcing parents. Achingly lonely, Owen spends his days plotting revenge on his middle school tormentors and his evenings spying on the other inhabitants of his apartment complex. His only friend is his new neighbor Abby, an eerily self-possessed young girl who lives next door with her silent father. A frail, troubled child about Owens’s age, Abby emerges from her heavily curtained apartment only at night and always barefoot, seemingly immune to the bitter winter elements. Recognizing a fellow outcast, Owen opens up to her and before long, the two have formed a unique bond. When a string of grisly murders puts the town on high alert, Abby’s father disappears, and the terrified girl is left to fend for herself. Still, she repeatedly rebuffs Owen’s efforts to help her and her increasingly bizarre behavior leads the imaginative Owen to suspect she’s hiding an unthinkable secret. +Continue Reading

Snooki Publishing A Novel About A Tan Girl With Big Hair Seeking Love

If you write it, they will read! Or maybe it’s, if you publish it, they will buy. Cultural low Jersey Show has made Nicole Polizzi a published author, and Edgar Allan Poe just turned over in his grave. Basically, Snooki will have spit on Poe’s tombstone when this book hits shelves.

Due out at the beginning of 2011 (Perfect. My birthday’s in January.), publishers Simon and Schuster shamelessly announced that “A Shore Thing” fictionally chronicles “a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore).” And I relate.

Snooki’s also been pursuing other opportunities like hosting parties, and she partied with the Kardashian sisters, tweeting a photo of the brunettes posing together…

It’s Britney B****: Britney Spears Rocks Glee!

(…Or should I say Glee rocked Britney Spears?) The highly anticipated Britney Spears episode of Glee aired tonight and it was toxic.

And by toxic, I mean so amazing that Twitter even went down for a bit with all the Britney and Glee trending commotion.

The Britney Spears frenzy began after Carl, a dentist played by guest star John Stamos (aka sexy Uncle Jesse) gives Brittany (Heather Morris) and Santana (Naya Rivera) laughing gas during a dental procedure. This “mild narcotic” sent the girls into a Britney Spears dreamland, where they became and met Britney.
