Céline Dion, and the twin boys she and hubby René Angélil are expecting, are healthy.
Dion’s spokesperson told People magazine that recent French tabloids claiming that Dion was taken to the hospital for pregnancy complications are “completely fabricated.” Her rep went on to affirm that Dion’s pregnancy “continues to be healthy and she feels fantastic.”
Dion, 42, has reportedly gained about 33 pounds, and has been undergoing acupuncture treatments that she believes contribute to a healthy pregnancy.
In her final two months of pregnancy, doctors have ordered Dion to rest. Her rep insists that these instructions are normal for any mother expecting twins.
Dion and Angelil were concerned with the false reports of Dion’s pregnancy complications, especially when friends began calling with worry.
Dion and Angelil, along with their son Rene-Charles, are happy and can’t wait until the twins are born.
Dion is set to return to Vegas next year, for her new show at Caesars Palace.
