Machete, an action movie that includes Lindsay Lohan playing a small part, hits theaters this weekend, opening on September 3 nationwide.
Machete synopsis:
After a violent shakedown from a notorious drug lord nearly kills him, Machete, a renegade Mexican Federale and tough-as-nails vigilante for justice, roams the streets of Texas, working as a day laborer. When Machete is hired by a crooked US Senator to execute a covert hit, Machete is double-crossed and forced to run from the cops and an endless stream of assassins. But what they don’t know is that Machete is looking for them so he can settle the score.
The cast of Machete includes Robert De Niro, Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Steven Seagal, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin, Don Johnson and Jeff Fahey. This movie was directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis.

Machete looks like the kind of movie my husband will love.
Any movie that Steven Seagal deems worthy to participate in is likely an Oscar contender. Machete is a film not to be missed.
