Lohan is eyeing the role of Mary Jane for the next untitled Spider-Man film, temporarily called “Spider Man Reboot,” which is about the younger days of the comic book hero.
Freshly out of prison for violating her probation terms, Lohan is rumored to be trying to get an audition for the role that Kirsten Dunst formerly played.
Too bad for the 24 –year-old jailbird, since reports on the fourth Spider-Man movie hint that Mary Jane’s character won’t even appear in the film. Rather, Peter Parker’s former love interest, Gwen Stacey will reportedly make her debut on the big screen.
The upcoming Spider Man film, directed by Marc Webb, will cast Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. James Vanderbilt wrote the script as Marc Webb directs the film.
If there’s really no Mary Jane in the fourth Spider-Man, I wonder if LiLo will try going for the role of Gwen Stacey!
Catch Lohan in the star-studded action film, Machete, which opens this weekend.
