Celebrity competitor Audrina Patridge is on the newest season of Dancing with the Stars, representing The Hills, and the MTV reality TV star admits to having sore legs and struggling with her routine.
Although the aspiring actress is having a hard time getting used to the long and strenuous hours of dancing, she’s got persistence and perseverance – two qualities she’s going to need as she continues to try and reach her career goals as well.
“I’m really hard on myself,” Audrina told UsMagazine.com. “I’d rather just keep going and going and going instead of taking a break.” (“going and going and going” like the Energizer Bunny?)
She added that her legs are really sore and that she has a difficult time going through the entire routine without stopping because she runs out of breath. She exclaims, “I don’t know if I can stand this for fifteen more hours!”
Professional dancer Tony Dovolani said of his partner, who can already feel her legs getting more toned, “Right now she‘s her own competition — she pushes herself to the end.” Of course, I wouldn’t expect anything less from Audrina.
Season 11 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars premieres Monday, Sept. 20. If Audrina doesn’t step up her cardio endurance and perhaps eat some carbs, she just may be first to be booted among her competitors such as Bristol Palin, David Hasselhoff, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino (wink), and Michael Bolton.
