Season 8 of One Tree Hill will start with lots of drama. In the opener, titled “Asleep At Heaven’s Gate,” Brooke (Sophia Bush) and Julian (Austin Nichols) are engaged, while Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) learns she’s pregnant. Crazy Katie, the tennis player that looks like Clay’s dead wife, shoots both Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) and Clay (Rob Buckley).

One Tree Hill fans are expecting to see a crossover between this show and the CW’s Life Unexpected. Tree Hill musicians Haley and Mia will perform at a concert in Portland for Cate’s radio station, on a Life Unexpected episode airing October 12th. The crossover reflects the station’s decision to move both shows to Tuesday nights, airing back-to-back. One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected are two of the CW’s mature, young adult dramas, each with a genuine emotional undertone.

One Tree Hill is still running strong, even after many thought it would follow in The OC’s footsteps, and end after the fourth season. The show even endured losing two of its main cast members, Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton, though there’s been speculation that the actors would return to reprise their roles as Lucas and Peyton.

I certainly hope there are many more seasons to come! Don’t miss the season 8 premiere on Tuesday!

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
