Lindsay Lohan Fears Jail

Lindsay Lohan could be going back to Lynwood California  jail for a third time.

Lohan, 24, is to appear before a Beverly Hills judge on Friday to answer for a failed drug test, which might cost her another 30 days in prison.

According to a source, Lohan is scared of prison. “She’s scared she might have to go back to jail. This is a wake-up call for her in a way. In the past, she dismissed everything, never took it seriously and now she’s like ‘Oh [expletive], something bad could happen.’”

The source claims this is just what Lohan needs. “Her true friends are actually happy this is happening. They never knew what it would take for Lindsay to listen. This might be it. But still, the attitude of some of her friends is, ‘Oh no, not again.’ It never ends with her.”

Fresh out of jail, the actress reportedly tested positive for cocaine as well as amphetamines (I wonder what happened to her rumored plan on having kids to stay sober?). Some experts think Superior Court Judge Elden Fox could sentence Lohan to more rehab instead of jail time.

Steve Sitkoff, an L.A. criminal defense lawyer who’s not involved with the case, says, “Judge Fox is a compassionate judge who might choose to help her with her addiction versus just punishing her with jail.”

So what will it be, rehab or jail? Stay tuned for more updates on the Lohan case.
