‘Jackass 3-D’ star Johnny Knoxville Gets Married

Jackass 3-D prankster Johnny Knoxville tied the knot with his girlfriend Naomi Nelson this past weekend after a short engagement. Why does the newlywed feel so lucky?

“I’m lucky enough to be with someone, and I am happy,” Johnny, formerly known as Phillip John Clapp, told [his own Web site] Knoxville.com. “I feel very lucky. I’m not out running around all the time. I don’t party as much as I used to. I’m not partying constantly and constantly battling myself. I’m with someone, and we are very, very happy.”

(Someday I hope that my husband tells his .com that he’s just ”lucky enough to be with someone…” Just lucky enough? To be with – someone? Charming…)

The lucky couple also have a son, Rocko Akira Clapp, who was born last December. This isn’t Johnny’s first rodeo though; he was previously married to Melanie Clapp and together they have a teenage daughter Madison. Madison is proudly tattoed on the left side of Johnny’s chest.

According to Life & Style, the Jackass star proposed to his lucky fiance with a 2.5-carat engagement ring from Los Angeles’ Platt Boutique Jewelry.

“Naomi was drawn to this ring because it is unlike anything she had seen–feminine, delicate and detailed,” jeweler Larry Platt said.

Jackass 3-D hits theaters October 15. He told MTV News, “Man, we filmed so much stuff. So much great stuff got left out of the film because we just overshot.” He also explained to MTV that the cutting-room bits will be available on a DVD set to hit shelves by the holiday season. “That’ll be in ‘[Jackass] 3.5,’ coming out at Christmas.”

Come December, Happy birthday to baby Rocko, and may we all get the Jackass DVD in our stockings.
