The pregnant actress helped jewelry designer Alex Woo create a new pendant necklace to raise money for her Right Action for Women  foundation.

Applegate spoke about the inspiration behind the design, saying, “This piece reminds me so much of the roses I made out of ribbons for my friends and family while in the hospital. I am so grateful to Alex for creating such a beautiful piece to benefit Right Action for Women. Proceeds from the necklace will help women at high risk for breast cancer get the screenings and testing they need to beat this disease.”

The tree and branches in the pendant are meant to symbolize balance, peace, harmony, and women’s curves. The seven leaves on the branches represent every day of the week, to remind women to live each day to the fullest.

The item comes in silver ($198) and gold ($998). To purchase the item and help in the fight against breast cancer, visit alexwoo.com and show your support during Breast Cancer Awareness month this October.

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at FabulousBuzz.com. Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
