The week two elimination show of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars season 11 resulted in another celebrity going home. It was probably little surprise that the lowest scoring couple, Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower, were eliminated from the show Tuesday night.
The three couples with the lowest judges scores were Michael and Chelsie with 12 points, Mike “The Situation” and Karina with 18 points and Margaret and Louis with 18 points.
Actress Florence Henderson and partner Corky Ballas scored only 19 points from the DWTS judges, but they were the first sent to safety tonight, based on America’s votes. Following them to safety were Kyle Massey with partner Lacey Schwimmer, actress Jennifer Grey and partner Derek Hough, NBA star Rick Fox with partner Cheryl Burke, QB Kurt Warner and partner Anna Trebunskaya, Hills star Audrina Patridge with Tony Dovolani, Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin with her partner Mark Ballas and actress Margaret Cho and partner Louis Van Amstel.
The bottom three of Dancing With the Stars week two, based on America’s votes, were Brandy Norwood with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Jersey Shore’s Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino with Karina Smirnoff as well as singer Michael Bolton and Chelsie Hightower.
Despite having been in the bottom three the week prior and getting the lowest score from the judges, Michael Bolton said he was surprised to be eliminated.
Last week, David Hasselhoff and his professional dance partner Kym Johnson were voted off the show.
Seal performed his new song Weight of My Mistake on the DWTS results show tonight.
Week three of Dancing with the Stars season 11 will air Monday night, October 4 on ABC.
