Taylor Swift Loves Being Single

Taylor Swift tells People Magazine that she loves being single. Perhaps one day, she’ll sing about that instead of past relationships.

The 20-year-old pop-country singer told People, “I will say everything in my music.” This has become apparent as Swift’s past relationships with Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner and apparently John Mayer (read more here), has given her something to sing about. Her upcoming album, Speak Now, has plenty of songs about relationships.

“There’s been extreme joy, extreme pain, extreme curveballs. Sometimes when things impact you so intensely, it takes writing a song to get over them,” Swift admits.

Swift insists that she doesn’t obsess over her relationship status, even though guys inspire her music. “Being single is wonderful and I love it. I don’t ever have a morning where I wake up and say, ‘I really need to find a boyfriend today.’”

One can only hope that Swift will one day sing about being happily single. Perhaps her newer lyrics will include more than, “It’s a love story, baby just say yes.”

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at FabulousBuzz.com. Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
