“I’m not shy,” McAdams tells InStyle, “But I feel like I give off more confidence than I really have. I get in trouble for being overly friendly at times.”

McAdams, 33, has been spotted with Welsh actor Michael Sheen. Sheen and McAdams star together in the upcoming movie, Midnight in Paris.

The Canadian actress says that dating an actor makes perfect sense.

“I usually take away one close relationship from every job, some romantic, some not,” McAdams revealed. She had dated Ryan Gosling, her onscreen lover in The Notebook, and also was linked to Josh Lucas.

Even though she’s had relationships with several actors, McAdams admits that she doesn’t have a type of man. “I don’t think so, although I guess everyone says that, right? I like to be surprised by people, and I find that makes life a lot easier too, when you just accept what’s coming your way.”

In the November issue of InStyle, which hits newsstands Friday, McAdams also revealed that she’d like to have kids some day.

“Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children. It’ll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.”

Who do you like Rachel with best? I still think she and Gosling made the cutest couple on and off screen!
