The singer, 42, delivered the twins at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida. One of the baby boys weighed 5 lbs., 4 oz., while the other weighed in at 5 lbs., 10 oz.

Dion’s rep told People, “Céline, René and their son René-Charles are thrilled.”

Though the rep said that Dion’s twins were born healthy, they are being kept in an incubator for the next few days as they were born premature.

Dion’s doctor, Ronald Ackerman, held a press conference outside the hospital on Friday evening. He revealed that Dion’s delivery was done through a C-section. He also noted that the twins were born with a fair amount of hair.

“Céline is resting now and they plan to discuss what to name the boys when she wakes up,” the rep continued. “René-Charles has been to the hospital to visit his brothers and is just so excited they are here.”

Last week, Dion’s husband had dismissed reports that his wife had scheduled a C-section to deliver their twins on October 22. He also dispelled reports that Dion had made outrageous demands of the hospital (read more here).

Dion is set to return to Vegas next year, for her new show at Caesars Palace.
