Singer and Disney star Demi Lovato left her Camp Rock 2 tour with the Jonas Brothers and checked into a treatment facility.
“Demi Lovato left her tour early this weekend in order to seek medical treatment for emotional and physical issues she has dealt with for some time. Demi has decided to take personal responsibility for her actions and seek help. She is doing just that,” her rep says. “She regrets not being able to finish her tour, but is looking forward to getting back to work in the near future.”
“She was in Peru and just couldn’t continue,” a source tells E! News. The 18-year-old singer was reportedly “overwhelmed” by her exhausting work schedule and has been dealing with these issues for some time. She was scheduled to perform in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Tuesday.
Lovato is famous for her roles as Mitchie Torres in the Camp Rock films and as Sonny Munroe in Sonny With a Chance. She has dated Joe Jonas earlier this year and is rumored to be dating pop sensation Justin Bieber.
