Lopez is not impressed with contestants that attempt to win her vote by singing her songs.

“It was cute, super entertaining and flattering, but no. They know we’re not out to cut them down or make a joke of them. We’re trying to mentor them to the next step,” the pop diva told reporters Thursday in Los Angeles.

Lopez reveals that after visiting seven cities, they’ve found around 15-20 “real superstars who could be recording artists for sure,” adding that they’ve seen great country singers.

In true Idol fashion, though there are several great performers, there are also dozens of contestants that have to be sent home. Lopez reveals this can be quite emotional.

“I’ve cried. We get a lot of elation when we put them through and devastation, almost, when they’re not. But it’s been a ball,” Lopez said.

Yikes, can you imagine trying to impress Jlo by singing her song, then have her tell you “but no”? Leave the diva’s songs to her!

Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
