Christian Bale Doesn’t Want to Promote His Films

Christian Bale just wants to act in movies, not promote them.

Bale, 36, says he has no interest in doing anything with the film after he shoots it, including promotion.

“I want to be able to act and never do any interviews,” Bale said.

Bale told a US magazine that any additional work distracts him from acting. “I don’t want people to know about that [the craft of acting]. It buggers up the job.”

Catch Bale this December, in The Fighter, where he plays a boxing trainer alongside Mark Wahlberg.

It’s funny that he’s complaining about doing interviews during an interview. Leave Batman alone, people!

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
