Anne Hathaway Throws a Fit

According to the New York Post, Anne Hathaway threw a fit at her birthday dinner.

The New York Post’s gossip column reports that Hathaway stormed out of a New York City restaurant in tears during her 28th birthday celebration with boyfriend Adam Shulman and her parents.

Hathaway’s publicist denies the incident happened, saying, “(It) never happened… The only time Anne left the table was to take a phone call. She did not leave the table upset.”

Eyewitnesses, however, told the story differently. “Everybody got pretty quiet. She left crying, and then her boyfriend followed her, but her parents remained,” one witness recalled.

A second witness recalled that Hathaway “told the server, ‘We just need a few minutes,’ and then she walked out and didn’t return.” While another said, “Her father said, ‘Let’s not talk about it tonight, it’s her birthday.’”

Catch Hathaway in her steamy Entertainment Weekly cover shoot with Jake Gyllenhaal (see here). Then catch her in Love and Other Drugs, co-starring Jake Gyllenhaal, on November 24th.

I don’t know how much I believe this story. Princess Mia wouldn’t throw a hissy fit!
