Want A Date With Bill Clinton?

Start bidding! Former president Bill Clinton is auctioning off a private dinner with himself on eBay.


The highest bidder and three friends will get a gourmet dinner with Clinton at the Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Proceeds from the bid will go to the Clinton Foundation.

Clinton told People, “I’m looking forward to showing the auction winner some of my favorite exhibits and enjoying dinner with them overlooking the Arkansas River. But more importantly, I look forward to the impact the winning bid will have on the work my Foundation does around the world.”

The dinner with Clinton includes a four-course meal prepared by award-winning chef Jacob Peck of Forty Two, the Clinton Presidential Center restaurant named for the 42nd president. The winner will also get a tour of the center.

The starting bid is $25,000, and bidding will end on December 2nd at noon.

“The president is one of most popular political figures in the world. We anticipate that his eBay charity auction will draw bidders from around the globe,” eBay spokesperson Amanda Miller said.

The Clinton Foundation aims to to end poverty in the U.S. and around the world, to combat childhood obesity, and to provide more affordable HIV/AIDS medicines to those in need.
