Justin Timberlake sustained a leg injury last week while filming his new movie Now in Los Angeles, resulting in a temporary shutdown of the movie.
The production company of the movie says, “Justin Timberlake sustained a muscle injury to his calf on the set of Andrew Niccol’s thriller Now. Production has taken a brief hiatus and will resume shortly.”
An insider told E! News that production will likely resume in about two weeks.
“He hasn’t heard anything about the MRI results, but they’re freezing production until he’s off crutches and able to act again,” says the source.
Now is a futuristic science fiction flick about a society that can cure aging. The film also stars actress Amanda Seyfried and Olivia Wilde and will be released next year.
