People Want to Party With Ellen DeGeneres!

When asked which celebrities people would like to invite to their holiday parties, the majority said Ellen DeGeneres.

According to a study conducted for HomeGoods stores in the US, voters believe that DeGeneres is the perfect party guest, while they’d like Michelle Obama to decorate their home for the holidays. Oh, and George Clooney to vacation with.

DeGeneres picked up 39% of the votes as the ideal party guest. Whoopi Goldberg of The View took second place at 29%, while Kelly Ripa came in third at 21%. Kathie Lee Gifford picked up 11% of the votes.

Michelle Obama topped the votes when people were asked who they’d like to decorate their homes, receiving 38% of the votes. Sarah Palin came in next (really?) at 22%, with Hugh Hefner, Joan Rivers, and Lady Gaga following.

George Clooney and his villa in Italy won the most votes when people were asked who they’d like to vacation with. Oprah and her Californian estate came in second, and Brad and Angelina’s French chateau and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s NYC flat tied for third place.

Who do you want at your party this Holiday season? Me? Michael Buble. Or the Backstreet Boys. Or both. Yes, I choose both.

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
