Former New York Jets sideline reporter, who claimed Brett Favre sent her inappropriate photos via text, is now saying she won’t pursue legal action against Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre if the NFL agrees to suspend him.
Favre admits texting Sterger, but denies that he ever sent her lewd photos.
Jenn Sterger’s rep appeared on the Dan Patrick Show today and said, “If the [NFL] commissioner suspends Favre and puts him in a program to make sure this doesn’t happen again … 100 percent … Jenn would not pursue any litigation against Favre, against the Jets, against anybody.”
Steger’s rep says Brett’s agent tried pay Jenn off before the story originally broke, saying, “He asked me is there a specific figure you had in mind to make this go away.”
The NFL investigation of this incident is reportedly closed, but there has been no word on a decision.
