Pop Newcomer J.Lewis Premieres Video for Single ‘Shut Em Up’

Pop newcomer, J.Lewis, premiered the music video for his first single Shut Em Up.

J.Lewis grew up in a Dallas, Texas suburb surrounded by a variety of musical influences, everyone from Steely Dan, the Beatles and Jack Johnson to Prince and his number one inspiration, Michael Jackson. An athlete in high school, J decided his real passion was dance, trading in the locker room for the hardwood floors and mirrors of an urban dance studio. By age 17 he was headed to Hollywood, hoping to break into music by way of the dance industry.

Three years of working the Hollywood music scene finally paid off in 2008, when one of his many showcases at venues like The Viper Room, The Roxy and The Hotel Cafe led to a production deal with Blackground/Interscope Records. A track he recorded with FloRida recently made the rounds of the internet.
