Lady Gaga’s show in Paris was cancelled, leaving Gaga to write on her Facebook that all 28 of her trucks were detained by the French government and two of her employees were arrested. “I am furious and devastated, its unfair to my fans and to me.”
The severe weather conditions in Paris forced Lady Gaga and her entourage to reschedule the show. Authorities were not permitting large trucks to pass through the Ile de France region because of the snow. Gaga couldn’t get to her concert venue, Bercy stadium, on time and all the sound and power sources were detained.
“I love Paris + I love my French fans. I’m sorry little monsters,” the singer posted on her Facebook.
The apologetic and initially angry and sad performer happily announced that Sunday’s show is rescheduled for Tuesday, promising to give fans the night of their lives. Monday’s concert is still scheduled as planned.
This hasn’t been the first time Gaga’s been frustrated with Paris. This fall Lady Gaga’s Paris concerts were postponed due to nationwide strikes over the government potentially raising the age for retirement.
