Oh, that Lady Gaga, she’s crazy! As promised, Gaga didn’t disappoint her fans in Paris. While thanking her little monsters in her custom-made silver Armani outfit, Gaga took off each heel and threw them into the crowd in opposite directions. (Sounds dangerous.)
“Mr. Armani is probably going to kill me,” said the superstar.
Lady Gaga was forced to unhappily cancel her Paris show over the weekend due to snowy conditions. Rescheduled for last night, it was Gaga’s final show in the European leg of her Monster Ball Tour.
Gaga took to her Facebook and said, “tradition throws shoes to the stage after magic . 2nite I threw mine to the crowd, for BTW, luck, + a brilliant performance by lilmonsters.”
Now that the year is wrapping, Gaga is prepping for her next album release.
The pop diva’s latest and third studio album Born This Way is set to be released in 2011. Gaga told Show Studio in U.K. during an interview that her Born This Way ”album was written based on her spiritual connection to her Little Monsters.” She feels it is her “destiny to protect her Little Monsters” as they have protected her.
The “shocking” new album will have about 20 tracks. Elton John told Entertainment Weekly, “It’s fucking amazing. ‘Born This Way’, which is the title song, will completely get rid of Gloria Gaynor’s ‘I Will Survive’. This is the new ‘I Will Survive’. That was the gay anthem. This is the new gay anthem. Actually, it’s not a gay anthem – it can apply to anybody.”
Gaga called Born This Way “the album of the decade,” and said in September, “The album is my absolute greatest work I’ve ever done and I’m so excited about it. The message, the melodies, the direction, the meaning, what it will mean to my fans and what it will mean in my own life – it’s utter liberation.”
Born This Way’s first single will be released between February and March.
