Car Hits George W. Bush’s Lawn

A car ran off the road and onto the lawn of former President George W. Bush’s home on Wednesday night.

According to the local NBC station, after the Plymouth Barracuda randomly landed on Bush’s lawn, Dallas police detained the male driver.

The Secret Service and the police don’t believe the man meant any harm, after they spent time questioning him. The driver claims his gas pedal just got stuck.

A Bush spokesman said that George W. and Laura Bush were home at the time, but were never in harm’s way.

Bush’s home is on a public street behind gates, which are guarded by the Secret Service.

That’s not the most ideal place to have your gas pedal get stuck, now is it?

A committed soap opera freak--err, fan, Rolla Bahsous was thrilled to begin her professional writing career writing about everything soaps. But her love for television did not stop at daytime! Rolla is excited to be using her guilty pleasure, following celebrity gossip, at Rolla's had a few encounters with her favorite celebs, including a fingertip brush and a "Take care, sweetheart" from Michael Buble, as well as a flying kiss from Nick Carter - in both incidents Rolla forgot how to breathe. Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests. When she is not writing, Rolla enjoys her obsession with fairies, coffee shops, and working out, (while watching television, of course!).
