Before her second concert in Paris on Tuesday, Gaga left that Place Vendôme hotel in the cold afternoon, seeming to forget a piece of important clothing. According to a witness, she was only “wearing a leather jacket. She had on a matching beige string, big black fishnet stockings and really high, high heels…but no pants!”

She then had the car stop in front of the new Bruce Field boutique, an upscale store with classic Ivy League style clothing for both men and women.

An employee from the boutique told People, “Lady Gaga came in at 5:15 and she bought a number of things.” Gaga’s assistant helped her pile on things to try, including “pants and a lot of scarves. Most everything in purple.”

The employee couldn’t say whether Gaga finally bought pants, but said, “I can tell you she stayed about 20 minutes and when she left there were some 30 photographers–and loads of fans–outside. It’s been a most unusual afternoon.”

So there you have it folks, we’ll never know if Gaga bought pants. Perhaps the boutique ran out of meat pants?

Rolla's University of Toronto degree in communications, political science, and theater is evidence of her diverse interests.
