Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian and her husband, L.A. Lakers’ Lamar Odom, will soon start filming their reality television show together.
“It shoots in the spring,” a source told Us Weekly. Another insider said the series will have the vibe of Bravo’s Bethenny Getting Married: “They’re so cute, playing off one another.”
It’s no surprise that Kardashian and Odom finally have their own reality spinoff. The Kardashian brand and the E! reality television shows have been a lucrative business for the famous family. All three Kardashian sisters are noted as three of the top 10 highest paid reality TV stars in 2010. Khloe Kardashian made the list as number seven because of her Dash boutiques, sponsorships, endorsements, radio show, published book and clothing line. Why not grow that $2.5 million bank account even more?
Although audiences will be seeing more of Kardashian and Odom, fans will see less of Mason, Kourtney Kardashian’s 12-month-old son. Kourtney Kardashian’s boyfriend, Scott Disick, wants his son out of the spotlight, growing up with a normal life, which is why Mason will not be appearing on Kourtney & Kim Take New York. According to an Us Weekly source, Disick really had demanded $5,000 per episode for Mason’s appearance on the E! reality show. E! reportedly offered $1,000 but Disick denied.
Says another insider, “He bungled negotiations, so you won’t see Mason at all!”
