The Green Hornet’s Seth Rogen, 28, and Little Fockers’ Barbra Streisand, 68, will be co-starring as mother and son in the road trip comedy My Mother’s Curse.
The film, slated for 2012, centers around Rogen’s character who is an inventer traveling across the country on a road trip with his mother selling his latest creation – an organic cleaning product. However, there are alterior motives between the two: Rogen’s character wants to reunite his mother with an old flame from her youth, and Streisand’s character tries to help her son overcome his fear of commitment.
Professional dancer Derek Hough will not be returning for season 12 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Hough, three time DWTS stars champ who most recently won season 11 with his partner Jennifer Grey, says, “I’m taking season 12 off.”
Hough, 25, will be busy this spring playing the lead role in an upcoming dance movie called Cobu 3D while season 12 of DWTS is being taped. The movie is a Romeo and Juliet-style love story (their dance groups are rivals) that will be accented by “some incredible dance numbers,” says Hough. “People will see a much edgier side of me and these other styles of dance I’m capable of doing.” +Continue Reading
Lauren Conrad, former star of MTV’s reality show The Hills, is said to be engaged to boyfriend Kyle Howard.
According to the New York Post, 24-year-old Conrad, who has been dating Howard since 2008, is secretly engaged.

Three-time Grammy Award winner Maroon 5 will be performing their latest single, Never Gonna Leave This Bed, during the 2011 Super Bowl Sunday pre-game festivities.
The NFL previously announced that country superstar Keith Urban would also be performing for the pre-game entertainment.

Style Network’s Emmy Award winning Clean House host Niecy Nash will be marrying her fiance Jay Tucker will be getting married on a TLC network two-hour special.

Nash, 40, who got engaged to electrical engineer Tucker in September 2010, said she hadn’t even started planning for her May wedding. “The only thing I know I really want is to marry that guy,” Nash told People.

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria and professional basketball player Tony Parker finalized their divorce in a Texas courtroom Friday, January 28, 2011.
The couple met in 2004 and had a storybook wedding in a European castle in 2007.
Longoria, 35, filed for divorce in November 2010 and confirmed their split via Twitter that same month, Tweeting “It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.” +Continue Reading
David Arquette, who recently split with his wife of 11 years Courtney Cox, reportedly checked out of rehab Sunday.
“He has competed his treatment and has left,” the actor’s rep tells People.
A source says the actor is “in great spirits. He’s feeling good and he’s ready to move forward.”

James Franco doesn’t plan to follow Ricky Gervais in bashing celebrities when he hosts the 83rd annual Academy Awards.
Gervais’ jokes and insults caused some uproar when he hosted the Golden Globes. When asked if he’d follow Gervais’ approach while hosting the Oscars, Franco said no.
“I haven’t really read any of the reviews, but my sense is that he was not really winning in that room. People were asking me, like, ‘Are you going to look at Ricky as a model for how you’re going to host?’ and I’m just not going to take too much from Ricky,” Franco told MTV. +Continue Reading
