Jersey Shore’s Snooki Launches Book Signing Tour on January 6

MTV Jersey Shore‘s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is launching a book signing tour on January 6 for her new novel A Shore Thing. Coincidence that Jersey Shore Season 3 premieres on January 6 as well? We think not.

Snooki’s first stop on her book tour will be today at the Barnes & Noble store at The Grove in Los Angeles.

“Today’s the day!” Snooki Tweeted Thursday. “My first book signing at the Grove in LA tonight! Andddd Jersey Shore airs tonight at 10 on MTV.”

According to publishers Simon and Schuster, A Shore Thing fictionally chronicles “a girl looking for love on the boardwalk (one full of big hair, dark tans, and fights galore).”

I attended the book signing. I’m not one to go to these events but after watching “The Jersey Shore” Snooki was so adorable and lovable I had too!! I went to Barnes and Nobles early at 9am to assure a wristband. I live a good distance and decided to stay in Los Angeles because going home and back at 5:30 pm to fall in line would be wasteful driving. There was a good number of people there to see her. She came out dressed all in black, looking even prettier in person. It was Snooki!! Everyone cheered and as she passed us she kind of gave a half smile and waved. She was signing books so quickly the line moved fast. No pictures at the signing table and personalization were allowed. She really looked as if she didn’t want to be there. I tried to understand thinking she may be tired, something on her mind bothering her, but I thought of how lucky this girl gets on a reality show and has built a great fan base! Think of the opportunities and money that have come her way! I waited the whole day to see Snooki, but it wasn’t worth it. I didn’t expect a song and dance but could you smile and show a little appreciation of these people who showed up for you?! It was obvious that book signing was in the book contract because she looked as if she was forced to be there. I still love you, Snook, but I wish I never attended. I wish I still had a that loving image of you, but it’s gone. I wish you appreciated that all those people showed up for you, it was lackluster at best. I hate that I attended, especially considering I never go to these events and now because my image of you is spoiled.
