Justin Bieber’s PETA Ad
Pop star and teen heartthrob Justin Bieber has joined PETA’s campaign promoting animal adoption at local shelters.
“It’s really important that people adopt,” Bieber says. “I really encourage going out to an animal shelter or a place where you can get a dog who has been abandoned or doesn’t have a home.”
Playing off of the title of one of his hit songs “U Smile” and his tour title “My World 2.0″, Bieber’s ads use lines such as “Animals can make U Smile” and “My world includes compassion for animals. Yours should too.”
In addition to the print ad, Bieber also filmed a PSA for PETA, sharing his story of adopting his dog, Sam. “We moved to a city where I didn’t really know anybody, so I kinda wanted a friend around.”
