The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season Finale

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season finale, airing Thursday, January 20 on Bravo TV, didn’t disappoint those hoping for drama.

The season finale reveals that Camille Donatacci’s husband Kelsey Grammer has been having an affair, making it official that their 13-year marriage is over. The previous episode shows Camille talking about how she wants to try to make it work, but anyone who has been paying attention to celebrity news knows that won’t be the case. Camille, venting to her best friend, explains that she found out there was another woman in Kelsey’s life when the doorman at Kelsey’s New York apartment didn’t believe she was his wife. Camille called it embarrassing. She was understandably so upset about the situation that she couldn’t pull herself together enough to make it to Taylor’s birthday party, which would be the main focus of the season finale.

Taylor Armstrong’s husband, Russell, threw her an elaborate birthday party, with all the housewives in attendance, except Camille. Taylor decides to confront Kim Ricahrds about bringing her into the fight that occurred early in the season between Kim’s sister Kyle Richards and Camille. This really seemed like an odd thing to do at her own birthday party, but the season finale wouldn’t have been nearly as exciting if she hadn’t. Kim had arrived to the party drunk, so there was no chance that this conversation was going to go well. The two women start yelling at each other, drawing the rest of the housewives, Kyle, Lisa VanderPump and Adrienne Maloof, into the conversation. Kim feels attacked, and starts throwing insults at each of the housewives and then storms out once she realizes everyone at the party is staring at her.

Kim retreats to the limo and Adrienne (the peacemaker) follows to try to calm Kim down. Kyle eventually joins them in the limo, turning it into a very ugly fight.

“Mom had to die worrying about you and stressing about you and leave this s–t on my shoulders,” Kyle tells her sister, in front of Adrienne and Kim’s date Martin.

If that weren’t hurtful enough, Kyle calls Kim an alcoholic, which apparently was a secret that hadn’t been let out of the bag all season.

The episode concludes with a recap of what happens once the season ends. As most already know, Camille and Kelsey get a divorce and Kelsey is now dating a 29-year-old flight attendant. Kim and Kyle did not speak for weeks after their fight. Kim’s family put her in rehab after the show ended, but she checked herself out after only a week. Cedric, Lisa’s “permanent house guest,” finally moved out, but the two had a huge fight before he left and have not spoken since. Taylor is still struggling with her marriage and Adrienne and her husband are still bickering playfully like the Honeymooners.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season one reunion will air Thursday, January 27 at 9/8c on Bravo TV.
