Charlie Sheen Doesn’t Think He Has A Problem

Although Charlie Sheen did not end up in the hospital for an overdose or alcohol poisoning, his crazy, consistent partying is clearly an issue. But a source says the Two and a Half Men star doesn’t think he has a problem.

“He doesn’t think he’s going to die,” a friend says. “He doesn’t want to stop. In his eyes, he thinks, ‘I’m having fun, so what? I’m making $2 million a week, the show has the best ratings, I show up for up work. What’s the problem?’ ”

Sheen had a wild party the night before he was rushed to the hospital, leading many to believe his hospitalization was due to an overdose of some kind. It has been confirmed that he definitely did not overdose, but doctors are still trying to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong.

“Charlie keeps saying it’s his hernia,” a source says. “He was curled up in a ball in excruciating pain before one of the friends at his house called 911 this morning.”

On Friday morning, Sheen’s rep told People, “Charlie Sheen left the hospital last night and is at home. He will be on the set of Two and a Half Men on Tuesday.”

Sheen’s party has caused concern among friends and even the CBS entertainment chief Nina Tassler has expressed her concern.

“He’s got so many people saying they’re concerned and they have the power to help him but you can’t force things on someone, you can’t make him get help,” says a friend.

“He loves the attention, he loves to shock people, he loves that he gets away with all of this. And he can because there are no consequences – that’s the problem. It’s who he is, like it or leave it. Maybe at 22, you’re with five hookers, so what? But when you’re his age and a father, it’s just ridiculous.”

Another friend told People, “He’s in serious condition. Doctors are still trying to figure out exactly what it was. They’re running a lot of blood tests. … The crazy thing is, he’ll probably be just fine. It’s part of why he doesn’t see the problem.

“People are rallying around him to intervene. Everyone is very concerned for him at this point. It’s a really scary situation. Nobody is surprised. This is an ongoing problem.”
