Charlie Sheen Refuses Traditional Rehab

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen is reportedly refusing traditional, in-patient rehab for his drug and alcohol addictions.

The actor’s rep said last Friday that Sheen voluntarily checked into rehab after he was rushed to the hospital following 36 hours of partying.

“Charlie was supposed to go to a rehab facility but he absolutely refused to go,” said an insider. “He is at home now and those close to him are trying to get him to enter a facility, but he doesn’t think he has a problem.”

Sheen’s manager says that the actor is relying instead on professionals who’ll help him in his home.

“Charlie has put together a team that he trusts to help get him sober once and for all,” says Mark Burg, who is also a producer of Two and a Half Men.

“Everybody hopes his recovery is quick and new episodes are back on the air as soon as possible,” says Burg.

Two and a Half Men will be on hiatus until Sheen recovers.
