After filing for divorce just over a month ago, former couple Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were spotted having an intimate dinner at The Little Door in West Hollywood, Calif.
An X17.com source revealed, “”The reservation was made for a private table and they sat there talking — very seriously, very intimately.”
“It wasn’t overtly romantic, but they seemed like two people who were together, no doubt. There was no tension, no conflict,” the source added. “They chuckled every once in a while and generally enjoyed the evening. They didn’t look like two people who had recently broken up.”
Will a reconciliation follow?
Perhaps both were uneasy with the media attention over each others’ presumed romance rumors. Reynolds made headlines when he and Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock spent New Years Eve together in Austin, Texas. Just recently, Johansson attended indie rock show Iron and Wine at the Wiltern in Los Angeles with former He’s Just Not That Into You co-star Justin Long.
“They’re friends,” Johansson’s rep tells PEOPLE of Johansson and Long. “They’ve worked together. They’re not dating.”
Meanwhile, Reynolds is looking quite sexy and sophisticated posing next to Oscar host Anne Hathaway on Vanity Fair’s magazine cover. Jake Gyllenhaal and James Franco also join the two for the magazine’s glamorous 17th annual Hollywood issue.
