Adam Sandler was honored Tuesday, February 1, 2011 with a star on the would-famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the West Hollywood Hotel.
“This is a big deal,” Sandler said. “I feel honored and can’t believe this has happened in my life.”
Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny and his wife Jackie were present as Sandler accepted the honor.
Kevin James, who co-starred with Sandler in the film Grown Ups and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, was also at the ceremony. Speaking of Sandler’s recognition on the Walk of Fame, James said, “Enjoy the magic of this moment, buddy, because tomorrow a pre-op transsexual will be turning tricks on top of your name.”
Sandler, 44, stars with Jennifer Aniston in Just Go With It, which hits theaters Feb. 11, 2011.
