The cast of The Eagle includes Jamie Bell, Channing Tatum, Mark Strong, Tahar Rahim and Donald Sutherland.
The Eagle received mixed reviews from the critics.
“The Eagle is a rip-snorting adventure tale of the sort made before CGI, 3-D and alphabet soup in general took the fun out of moviegoing.” -Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
“It’s a Channing Tatum movie. Asking for anything more than gruff posturing is like asking Sylvester Stallone to pull a Brando.” -Alexis Loinaz, Chicago Tribune
“A thunderous boys’ adventure of the old-school type.” -J. Hoberman, Village Voice
