Lauren Conrad and friends are launching a new clothing line called Paper Crown, “a collection for those who like to play dress up in a grown up world.”
Paper Crown, featuring maxi skirts, ruffled cocktail dresses, leather shorts, silk blouses and slouchy blazers, was gearing up for big publicity. Conrad’s recently canceled reality TV show filmed her career in fashion, which primarily focused on Paper Crown; however, her show was dropped from MTV for being “too high brow.” Paper Crown will hit stores this fall regardless.
Described as, “an understated elegance that is both effortless and youthful,” Paper Crown features looks that are classic and modern. Her clothing is designed with quality fabrics for a tailored fit.
What inspires the former Hills’ star?
“Conrad’s love of fanciful design elements that transcend the boundaries of everyday fashion, while maintaining an aesthetic that is fresh and forward with a feminine charm.”

For Hills fans and the like, don’t give up just yet on Conrad’s reality TV show; it may potentially run on another network.
“The amount of offers I’ve gotten has been very flattering,” Conrad told Us. “We all worked really hard on it and I’m really proud of it. It turned out fantastic, so stay tuned.”
