After CBS canceled the last eight episodes of this season of the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, Warner Bros. has decided to officially fire Charlie Sheen from the show.
Warner Bros. released a statement today saying, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ effective immediately.”
Sheen says the firing is good news and responded to the decision in a statement saying, “They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at [expletive] again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
The network has declined to comment on the future of Two and a Half Men, but one source close to the show says, “no decision has been made” about whether they will replace Sheen or cancel the show all together.
